Oversee the delivery of pitch maintenance and improvements at both sites at the Croud Meadow and Sundorne Castle Training Ground to the highest standards. • Presentation of all pitches to the highest standard for matches and training schedules. • Carrying out general grounds duties including but not limited to mowing, verticutting, line-marking, aerating, divoting, fertilising and brushing. • Oversee the end of season/closed season pitch renovaPon programme ensuring the required work is carried out. • Ensure machinery is maintained and serviced to an acceptable standard. • Be available for the required training as prescribed by the football club. • Liaising with the head coach and coaching staff on a daily basis to ensure pitches are appropriately prepared for training. • Any other duties as required and directed by the Facilites Manager and C E O. About The Candidate Skills/Qualifications/Experience Essential Desirable Qualified with an NVQ Level 2 in Sports Turf Management or equivalent Qualification - Yes desirable Experience in working on professional sports pitches - Yes desirable PA1, 2a and 6 Spraying certificates - Yes desirable Excellent communication skills.
