Description
On a day to day basis you will:
1. Identify technical impediments / bottlenecks and work directly to resolve
2. Be technology agnostic and willing to adapt approach in pursuit of the best solution
3. Be anchored to core engineering area and carry the ability to test and learn
4. Understand Systems Thinking and Service Design to mitigate reactive solutions that leads to further technical debt
5. Understand agile and the relationship between agile definitions and automated delivery
6. Be passionate about automating everything
7. Be industry aware and understand the importance of new technical approaches to evolve solutions
What you’ll need
Expertise in a private cloud environment specialising in one or more of the following technologies:
8. PostgreSQL (including HA)
9. Microsoft SQL Server (AAG, SSIS, SSAS, SSIS)
10. Powershell
11. T-SQL
12. PL/pgSQL
13. Supporting and managing enterprise systems, including HA/DR solutions
14. Agile ways of working
15. Contributing to solutions for a Private Cloud Environment
16. Backup / Restore and Disaster recovery processes
17. Defect Management
18. Performance Optimisation
19. Technical fault-finding Level 3 & 4
20. Security best practises and compliance standards
21. Problem solving and communication skills
22. Industry based best practice
And any experience of this would be really useful:

24. Backstage / Harness / IDP
25. Github Enterprise
26. MongoDB
Interviews for this role will take place on 1st and 2nd December 2025.
