Basic Skills Tutor (JAJB4151) - Term time only
2 Posts – 1 North of CEC & 1 South of CEC
The Cheshire East Skills and Lifelong Learning team deliver and work with local organisations to create learning opportunities, courses, and classes ranging from accredited vocational programmes to practical life skills courses that widen participation in learning. A new opportunity has arisen for us to work with parents of children attending Cheshire East Council Family Hubs, thus creating a need for two tutor posts. These posts will be aimed at delivering learning that will assist those furthest away from education and employment in such areas as Childcare, Supporting you child’s learning, Introduction to Health and Social Care, Food Hygiene, First Aid, English, Maths and budgeting.

About the Role:
The role will involve the post holder to:
1. Deliver skills programmes
2. Prepare, deliver and evaluate learning programmes for adults
3. Promote and market training provision to organisations and networks
4. Provide advice and guidance

About you:
5. You will have a teaching qualification
6. Teaching skills and experience
7. Knowledge of Adult Skills Funded training
8. Ability to travel within the borough of Cheshire East
