Role Overview
As a Flower Delivery Driver, you will be the face of our business when making deliveries in the local area. You'll ensure our arrangements arrive in perfect condition, on time, and with a courteous, friendly manner. This role is essential in helping us maintain our high service standard and strong reputation.
Key Responsibilities
* Safely drive the company vehicle to make local deliveries of flower arrangements, gifts and accessories.
* Load and unload floral arrangements and gift items, ensuring they are handled with care and secured in transit to prevent damage.
* Plan and follow assigned delivery routes in an efficient manner.
* Ensure timely deliveries and communicate any delays or issues to the management.
* Deliver direct to customers, hand over items in a courteous and professional way, and take note of any special delivery instructions.
* Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the delivery vehicle and ensure it is presentable.
* Perform basic checks on the vehicle (fuel, oil, tyres) if using company vehicle; report any maintenance issues.
* Work closely with our hub team to pick up the correct orders, verify items, and confirm delivery notes.
* Occasionally assist with in-shop support and stock movement (e.g., assisting with loading/unloading of floral stock when required).
* Adhere to company procedures on health & safety, road safety and handling of delicate floral products.
Person Specification / Requirements
* Valid full UK driving licence (with clean or acceptable driving history).
* Reliable, punctual and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Proven delivery driving experience (minimum 1 year)
* Strong communication skills and polite customer-facing manner.
* Physically capable of loading/unloading floral boxes.
* Good organisational skills — able to manage multiple deliveries in a timely manner.
* Attention to detail: ensuring orders match the delivery items and special instructions are followed.
* A positive attitude and willingness to support the team during busy times.
* Flexibility to work part-time hours, including some early starts, weekends or evenings during peak periods (e.g., Valentine's Day, Mother's Day).
* Training on company delivery procedures and support from management.

Pay: £12.75 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 18 per week
