We are seeking a caring, patient, and dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to support students with additional learning needs. Duties as a SEN Teaching Assistant: Provide one-to-one or small group support for students with a range of special educational needs (e.g. ASD, ADHD, speech and language, SEMH) Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored learning activities Support pupils in developing social and emotional skills Help implement and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs) Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom atmosphere Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals Ideal SEN Teaching Assistant: Experience working with children or young people with SEN (in a school or other setting) A calm, adaptable, and empathetic approach Strong communication and teamwork skills as a SEN Teaching Assistant.
