Salary: £62,400–£76,960
Hours: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week

The Client
A global leader in environmental monitoring and instrumentation solutions is expanding its Service Department and seeking a technically skilled Service Technician. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in calibration, diagnostics, and repair of precision instruments to join a high-impact, innovation-driven team.
The Package
* £62,400–£76,960 annual salary

The Responsibilities
* Calibrate, troubleshoot, and perform minor repairs on advanced instrumentation
* Analyze service data to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions
* Maintain accurate service records and documentation
* Communicate technical issues and resolutions to internal teams
* Report recurring service trends to support product development
* Provide on-site service support as required (20–25% travel)
The Requirements
* 1–2 years of experience in technical service, instrumentation, or electronics
* Proficiency in instrument calibration and fault diagnostics
* Ability to interpret technical documentation and schematics
* Familiarity with electronic components and basic repair techniques
* Moderate proficiency in Microsoft Office and service tracking software
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Effective communicator across technical and non-technical teams
* Associate degree or vocational training in Electronics, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred (or equivalent hands-on experience)
