The Role
Responsible for planning logistics projects and day‑to‑day tasks from start to finish. Improves and optimises current processes, including process times, cost savings and logistical resources. Also performs analytical work requested by management and presents findings precisely and on time.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify weaknesses in operations (cost, quality, process); analyze root causes; develop robust solutions and communicate to stakeholders.
* Implement changes physically and provide data for maintenance to system specialists; support go‑live across all shifts; work with VPS/Lean principles; promote 5S.
* Plan and implement standards that can be sustained; optimise logistics based on the above principles.
* Collaborate with other departments on internally or externally led projects.
* Provide critical analysis of changes and their operational impact; communicate risks internally and externally.
* Maintain and update area layout documents for new projects and publish when required.
* Deliver projects from start to finish and delegate tasks to operations teams during implementation.
* Document new processes related to projects.
* Support senior management with individual tasks and steer project tasks, completing relevant documentation.
* Provide go‑live support.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint.
* Proficiency in Time & Motion calculations.
* Ability to work independently to gather information, identify missing or inaccurate data/processes.
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment and prioritize workload.
* Time‑management skills.
* Skill in identifying waste in processes and ways to improve them.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Self‑motivated with a can‑do attitude.
* Strong numerical skills.
Desirable/Advantageous
* MTM Base and SOL certification and experience.
* Previous exposure to working with data and numbers.
* Analytical mindset with given data.
* Proactive, independent and persistent.
* Good work ethics, organised and hard‑working.
