An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and knowledgeable registered nurse / paramedic to join the ENP / ECP team within the emergency department at Weston General Hospital. We encourage qualified ENP / ECP's to apply and we also welcome applications from experienced Emergency Department Nurses who are interested in progressing into an ENP role. The post holder will demonstrate enhanced clinical skills and competencies, including advanced clinical assessment and critical thinking, to support safe and effective decision-making in the care and treatment of patients attending the department with minor injuries and illnesses. You will ensure that evidence-based practice underpins all aspects of care delivery, actively sharing knowledge and best practice across the clinical area, the Trust, and externally where appropriate. In this role, you will provide clinical expertise and leadership to support the ongoing development and enhancement of the fast flow emergency care service, working in partnership with medical, nursing, and allied health professional colleagues. You will also play a key role in driving service improvement in collaboration with the clinical lead for fast flow, contributing to audit, quality improvement initiatives, and research activity.
