As a Senior Theatre Practitioner at our Cambridge Hospital, you will be registered with the appropriate governing body, hold relevant qualifications, including HCPC registration, and have post-registration experience. You bring a passion for high standards in perioperative care, attention to detail, and a focused, flexible, motivated team worker mindset.
As a Senior Theatre Practitioner, you will:
1. Prioritize patient safety, take appropriate actions, and encourage colleagues to report safety concerns.
2. Promote a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff, in full compliance with policies and procedures.
3. Support governance activities, ensuring compliance with Nuffield Health's Quality governance framework and standards such as CQC/HIW/HIS, fundamentals of care, professional standards, and evidence-based guidelines.
4. Provide and lead care management and delivery, treating patients and their families with kindness, dignity, respect, and compassion, supporting them emotionally.
5. Collaborate with other clinicians to enhance patient care and service delivery.
6. Take charge of a theatre, coordinating work activities and leading junior practitioners.
