MM FLOWERS Hygiene Operative
Location: Pierson Road, The Enterprise Campus, Alconbury Weald, Huntingdon, PE28 4YA
Pay: £12.21 per hour, with overtime paid at £15.26 per hour
Shifts: Day shift – 7am to 7pm, Night shift 7pm - 7am
Shift Patterns: Sunday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday
Weekly Hours: Average of 38.5 hours per week
Pay Frequency: Paid weekly
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Hygiene Operative to join our team at MM Flowers. This is a key role responsible for maintaining hygiene standards across our production environment, ensuring equipment and work areas are clean, safe, and compliant with our strict quality and safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
* Clean production lines, floors, tables, and equipment in line with hygiene schedules
* Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively
* Ensure waste is sorted and disposed of correctly, following segregation and disposal protocols
* Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE at all times
* Complete hygiene logs and report any equipment or supply issues promptly
* Support the wider hygiene team with tasks and ad hoc cleaning needs
What We're Looking For
* Previous cleaning or hygiene experience, ideally in a production or manufacturing environment
* Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures
* Ability to follow schedules and work independently as well as part of a team
* Strong awareness of health, safety, and hygiene practices
* Reliable, proactive, and willing to contribute to a high-performing team
