The fellow would work with the four Head and neck radiologists and one dental radiologist to cover specialist reporting in Head and Neck MRI and CT and would be expected to partake in regular neck ultrasound sessions and diagnostic neck biopsies. There is a tertiary Head and Neck cancer MDT weekly and benign ENT meetings monthly. There is also scope to learn ophthalmic radiology and take part in the oculoplastic and neuro ophthalmology meetings. A second interest in neuroradiology can also be accommodated as BRI is the centre for neuro oncology. Main duties of the job There would be provision for one session of acute CT/MRI reporting (Hub session) per week and a plain film session per week. The remaining sessions would be for specialist work. Weekend on call day time -10am-6pm Saturday and Sunday -1:4 or 1:5. No overnight or week day on calls. Funded for a period of 12 months with the opportunity to be part of the adult/ paediatric Radiology registrar on call rota 1:10 depending on numbers of rotating registrars on the Severn radiology scheme.
