Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who possess a passion for working with children.The Assistant will play a vital role in supporting daily operations, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children, and fostering their development through engaging activities.
Term time only
Monday - Friday 08:30 am - 15:00 pm
Responsibilities
* Assist in the planning and implementation of educational programmes and activities for children.
* Provide supervision and support to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
* Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and staff regarding children's progress and any concerns that may arise.
* Maintain a clean, organised, and stimulating environment conducive to learning and play.
* Collaborate with other staff members to develop strategies for effective management of the nursery setting.
Experience
* Previous experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential.
* A background in early childhood education is highly desirable.
* Strong communication skills in Welsh are required to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
