Offer description

Summary

As a Technical Program Manager (TPM) at M&S, you will lead the delivery of data solutions across multiple domains, partnering with Engineering and Product teams to ensure smooth execution and cross‑functional alignment. This hands‑on role combines strong technical expertise with stakeholder management to drive objectives, foster collaboration, and mentor teams, operating as a servant leader who enables value‑driven outcomes. You will champion continuous improvement across people, process, and technology, shaping the Technical Program Management discipline to support scalable, agile Data & AI solutions. With a balance of business insight and technical acumen, you will coach and inspire teams, remove ambiguity, and embed a culture of innovation and accountability to deliver impactful results.

Who you are

* You don’t just manage projects – you orchestrate outcomes.
* You’re as comfortable in a boardroom talking strategy as you are in a stand‑up with engineers.
* You see patterns in complexity and turn chaos into clarity.
* You obsess over impact, not activity.
* You’re a translator – fluent in business ambition and technical execution.

What you will do

* Take vision and turn it into a plan people can execute.
* Build bridges between stakeholders, teams, and competing priorities.
* Keep delivery moving forward – removing blockers before they slow momentum.
* Make progress visible through crisp reporting that leaders trust.
* Deliver not just data projects – but measurable business impact.

What's In It For You

Being a part of M&S is exactly that – playing your part to bring the magic of M&S to our customers every day. We’re an inclusive, dynamic, and ever‑evolving business built on doing the right thing and bringing exceptional quality, value, and service to every customer, whenever, wherever, and however they want to shop with us.

* After completing your probationary period, you’ll receive a 20% colleague discount across all M&S products and many of our third‑party brands for you and a household member.
* Competitive holiday entitlement with the potential to buy extra holiday days.
* Discretionary bonus schemes awarded based on how you achieve your personal objectives and our performance as a business.
* A generous Defined Contribution Pension Scheme and Life Assurance.
* A dedicated welcome to our teams with a tailored induction and a wide range of training programmes to develop your skills.
* Amazing perks and discounts via our M&S Choices portal to maximise your financial and personal wellbeing.
* Industry‑leading parental, adoption, and neonatal policies, providing support and flexibility for your family.
* Access to a fantastic range of wellbeing support for all colleagues including access to our 24/7 Virtual GP and PAM Assist to support you and your family.
* A charity volunteer day to support a charity or cause you're passionate about through a dedicated day away from work.
