Mott MacDonald Bentley (MMB) is seeking a Lead Design Engineer to oversee water and wastewater infrastructure projects within the Thames Water Framework in the Thames Valley Region.
MMB continues to successfully deliver AMP 7 projects and is preparing for AMP 8 delivery with Thames Water. We seek individuals with the knowledge, experience, and drive to advance this work.
Role Overview:
The Lead Design Engineer will be responsible for all design aspects of a project portfolio, including Wastewater Treatment, Clean Water Production, or Infrastructure. You will develop and lead a team of Project Leaders and discipline engineers.

Your responsibilities include:
* Leading your team in delivering designs suitable for construction, collaborating with commercial and operational teams
* Providing team direction, overseeing project controls, and ensuring quality, schedule, and budget compliance
* Applying client Asset Standards and promoting best practices
* Working with client Engineers to deliver projects and maintain trust
* Analyzing project performance and risks
* Fostering a positive, challenging, and encouraging environment for your team
Candidate requirements:
* Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status
* Experience in water or wastewater design
* Experience in leading and developing design teams
* Knowledge of CDM 2015 duties for Designer and Principal Designer
