Are you passionate about supporting students and making a real difference to young people? This role is ideal for a proactive and flexible individual capable of positively impacting our students.
You will work directly with students, helping them continue their education and prepare for employment. You will collaborate with curriculum teams to deliver personalized intervention sessions for students with wellbeing and pastoral needs, in small groups and 1:1.
You will share responsibility for monitoring and supporting students on your caseload, including those with mental health and wellbeing needs. Empathy and knowledge of specific support needs are essential. If you do not hold a Mental Health First Aid qualification, training will be provided.
Effective communication with students, parents/carers, and professionals is crucial, as the role involves multi-agency working. You will be a key contact for pastoral and wellbeing issues, helping to remove barriers, raise aspirations, and provide advice and guidance.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary for accurate recording and monitoring of safeguarding and welfare concerns. Previous experience working with young people and/or vulnerable adults to support safeguarding is preferred.
This role is 37 hours per week, term-time only, based at our Barnfield Campus in Luton, with occasional travel to other sites. We aim for the successful candidate to start in August 2025, with possible earlier start on an hourly basis.

You will be supported by a dynamic team and encouraged to bring your ideas. Training and development opportunities are a core part of our approach, and we promote upskilling.
