Job Description
This role can be based across any of our 6 Processing Centres across Europe: Stoke on Trent, Wakefield, Walsall (UK), Wroclaw, Sulechow (Poland) or Bergheim (Germany). We are looking for a Graphic Designer / Content Creation Specialist to join our Central Distribution Operations team and ensure delivery of multi‑channel communications for all European Distribution Processing Centres and supporting functions. This role ensures alignment with TJX brand guidelines while evolving the cultural expectations of distribution. Working within a communications strategy and closely with distribution, you will be able to use your initiative to be reactive to business pressures, whilst also understanding how to deal with complex and opposing viewpoints. Distribution is a fast‑paced environment and you will ensure consistent execution and positive engagement for all our associates, promoting a culture of multi‑channel communication and engagement that enables continuous improvement & development of our ways of creating digital content and communication.
Key Responsibilities
* Communications: Create and write specific and relevant communications free of grammatical errors, including briefs, WorkJam posts and emails.
* Content creation: Partner and align cross‑functionally to generate original content ideas that align with the organisation's goals, audience and brand guidelines. From creating, producing and editing videos, infographics, podcasts, animation or other forms of multimedia content.
* Engage associates: Understand and tailor content to meet the needs and preferences of associates across the European markets with the ability to connect with the TJX culture.
* Content promotion: Develop promotional strategies and communication plans to increase content visibility and reach by utilising all available channels.
* Continuing professional development: Maintain an active interest in innovation, industry trends, standards, and emerging communication technologies to support continuous improvement.
* Application management: Partner with the Digital Systems Manager to support maintenance and upkeep of all creative aspects of the work application (WorkJam), including posts, banners, knowledge articles etc., ensuring communications are added, scheduled and posted to channels in a timely manner. Support with ServiceNow ticket management to resolve system issues, providing timely support to end‑users in a professional manner.
* Auditing and reporting: Conduct routine audits of content to ensure compliance with brand guidelines and collate analytics and stats on our engagement.
Key Skills, Knowledge & Essential Experience
* A strong understanding of retail and/or distribution environments.
* Fluent in English written, speaking and reading is essential. Written and verbal knowledge of a second language, either Polish or German would be beneficial.
* Graphic design qualification and/or experience preferred.
* Excellent creative skills and able to create engaging written communications, utilising English language (and second language) including written briefs, emails, social media style posts, articles/blog posts.
* Ability to create engaging content, utilising graphic design producing assets such as GIFs, posters, videos, animations, slide decks.
* Thorough knowledge of Mac OS (literate), InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro and Microsoft software (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Logical thinker able to add value and increase user experience within a work application (WorkJam), analysing data trends and problem solving to support increased engagement.
* Highly organised, with capacity to prioritise workload, understand project management and work independently.
* Complete integrity and reliability to handle and perform critical and confidential work.
* Ability to understand systems, work applications and reports (WorkJam, reporting suites, Excel) – identifying any risks and reporting on trends and analysis.
