The role As a Clerk, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. The successful candidate will be responsible for the creation and administration of individual and group passes for large scale events and high-profile visits whilst ensuring personnel have the correct personnel clearances in place prior to the issue of passes. Day-to-day, you’ll have the following responsibilities: Issue permanent passes and permits – including aiding and guidance on pass application process and the issue of temporary passes when required by guardroom staff Control and secure the custody of passes and permits prior to issue – blank security forms are Unclassified. Blank ID cards are to be treated as Sensitive documents and safeguarded in accordance with JSP440.. (Military Policy control entrance policy – Joint service publication) Carry out completion checks before issuing pass/permit to the recipient – including all relevant security checks following strict GDPR regulations Collate of any required documentation for the completion of Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) vetting of passes and permits for dependants, contractors, and social personnel – ensure correct completion of all documentation. This role is full time and based onsite at RAF High Wycombe. Essential experience of the Clerk: Evidence of working in a dynamic, customer focused environment Experience of working in a position with time restricted deadlines. Experienced in the use of Microsoft Office. Previous experience of working within an environment with GDPR requirements.
