This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young people with additional needs, particularly those who require behavioural and emotional support. The role involves working closely with pupils to promote positive behaviour, engagement in learning, and personal development. The Role Support pupils with a range of special educational needs, including SEMH and Autism. Provide 1:1 and small group behavioural support. Implement behaviour management strategies consistently. Support pupils in regulating emotions and developing coping strategies. Build strong, positive relationships with pupils to encourage engagement. Work alongside teaching staff to support learning in the classroom. Help de-escalate challenging situations in a calm and professional manner. Monitor and report on pupil behaviour and progress. Contribute to a safe, structured, and supportive school environment. Promote safeguarding, inclusion, and student wellbeing at all times.About the School Secondary SEN school supporting pupils with additional and complex needs. Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills. Calm, patient, and resilient approach. Ability to build positive and professional relationships with pupils. Reliable and committed to full-time work. Able to provide at least two references covering the last two years.
