Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic teachers committed to excellence, ready to work in a dynamic part of Scotland. You will support the Head Teacher in their duties, assist, and where necessary, deputise in the leadership and management of school affairs. As part of the Senior Management Team, you will lead and manage whole school policy, its implementation, and evaluation. You will also support the development of the school curriculum, learning, and teaching to promote improved educational outcomes.
The post requires a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organization.

Requirements
This role involves regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The successful candidate will need to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. If you have spent three or more months outside the UK in the last five years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. Employment is contingent upon satisfactory completion of these checks.
Salary will be in accordance with SNCT agreements. Applicants must be or be eligible to be fully registered with GTC Scotland. If qualified outside Scotland, please visit GTCS – Qualified Outside Scotland for registration information.
The grade for this position may change annually, in line with the SNCT Handbook, with any change effective from 1st August each year.
