Role Overview
We’re looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented Buyer to join our procurement team for a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a high‑impact industry while supporting key supply chain operations.

Responsibilities
* Place and manage purchase orders with precision and timeliness.
* Attend procurement and cross‑functional meetings at our Crawley manufacturing site.
* Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
* Support cost reduction initiatives and benchmark supply chain competitiveness.
* Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Engineering teams on NPI projects.
* Assist the Senior Buyer with negotiations and strategic sourcing.
* Identify and implement cost‑saving opportunities.
* Ensure compliance with ISO standards through process documentation.
* Resolve supplier invoice queries and manage demand requests.
* Ensure suppliers consistently meet cost, quality, and delivery targets (Total Cost of Ownership).
Qualifications
* Minimum 3 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
* Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
* Office‑based availability with some flexibility.
