We’re working with a welcoming 1 form entry primary school in Chelmsford looking to recruit a Year 2 Teacher for a September start. This is a temp to perm opportunity, offering the chance to secure a permanent role for the right candidate.
About the role:
You’ll take full responsibility for a Year 2 class, delivering engaging and creative lessons that support pupils as they progress through the end of Key Stage 1. You’ll play an important role in preparing pupils for their continued learning, while creating a positive and supportive classroom environment.
What we’re looking for:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (Year 2 experience desirable)
* Strong classroom management and organisation
* A nurturing, enthusiastic approach to teaching
* Ability to work well within a small, supportive team
