The Role
As an History ECT, you will:
* Teach engaging and well-planned lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially Key Stage 5.
* Inspire students to develop a deep appreciation for reading, writing, and critical thinking.
* Contribute to the ongoing success of a collaborative and high-achieving History Department.
* Participate fully in school life, including enrichment activities and extra-curricular clubs.
* Receive tailored guidance, training, and mentoring from experienced colleagues.
Requirements
* Is completing their PGCE or equivalent qualification and will hold QTS by January 2026.
* Has a genuine passion for History and for helping young people reach their potential.
* Demonstrates creativity, enthusiasm, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
* Is a strong communicator with excellent classroom management skills.
* Values teamwork and is eager to contribute to a supportive learning community.
