Each role is guaranteed for one full academic year. September 2025 - July 2026. Full time, Monday to Friday.
If you enjoy your year at the school and cement your passion for teaching, inspiring real change and inspiring students, you can train to teach from September 2026, on a salaried teacher training SCITT (paid for + no more student debt). You will be supported, nurtured and progress quickly.\n\nWhat skills and experience do you need as a Teaching Assistant?\n\nA graduate, 1st Class or 2:1\nStrong A Levels and GCSEs across the board - especially in your chosen subject specialism\nAn evident passion for inspiring young people - this must come across during interview\nA general understanding of potential routes into teaching - but you don't need to know everything\nResilience, Can-Do Attitude & Positive Demeanour - Teaching and Teaching Assistant roles are tough, but rewardingThat's all you need - Experience like tutoring, mentoring, summer camps or childcare is a bonus but not essential. Most important is your desire to make an impact.\n\nTeaching Assistant - Role Details:\n\nPermanent contract - 13 weeks a year off paid\n£25,000 - £27,000 per annum depending on expreince/academics\nMonday to Friday, School Hours Typically 8am - 4pm (no weekends)\nStart in September 2025, through till July 2026 initially\nScope to go onto a Permanent Contract and Salaried Teacher Training from Sept 26\nSupport students across Key Stages (KS3, KS4, KS5) 1-2-1 and in small groups running interventions, academic booster session and revision sessions\nSupport students in your chosen subject specialism (any subjects like English, Maths, Science, Humanities, Social Sciences, Languages)\nSupport students with mild to moderate SEN i.e.
