Payroll Advisor Permanent London EC4N £40,000 to £50,000 Full or part-time; hybrid Excellent range of flexible benefits, including bonus and 26 days holiday A newly created vacancy – you’ll shape their payroll, take ownership and make your mark. This professional services business is growing 30% year on year, organically and through acquisition. They employ 250 people and currently manage their payroll between finance, HR and a bureau – it’s the right time to take a dedicated approach, bringing payroll expertise in-house and freeing up their time. You can expect your career to grow with the business and be rewarded for your efforts. You’ll join a friendly finance team with ‘an in it together’ spirit who have an agile and accountable approach to their growth-related challenges. You’ll spend two days a week in their Cannon Street HQ and the rest from home. There is real flexibility here with a focus on supporting you and your wellbeing. They can consider full-time or part-time applications, with the expectation you’re available around their monthly payroll date of the 27th. What you'll do * Monthly payroll in partnership with their payroll bureau * You’ll be the go-to person for anything payroll – P11D returns, analysis, variances, headcount budgets, reconciliations. Everything you’d expect in a standalone role. * Look at areas for improvement and efficiency as they continue to grow About you * An experienced Payroll professional, compliant with relevant legislation and statutory requirements. You might be a Payroll Analyst or Senior Advisor already – it’s the challenge that motivates you. * You’ll have good knowledge of the financial context of payroll, such as double entry book-keeping, variance analysis and reconciliations * You are independent, proactive and accountable in your work, keen to keep developing The recruitment process * This advert is live as of 30th September.
