Ocean Housing Ltd, our core business, has an exciting opportunity for a *Compliance Manager (M&E) to join their Property Services Team.
(*known internally as Property Services Manager (Compliance & Heating))
Under the overall management from the Head of Property Services you will be responsible for all Health & Safety property compliance relating to the performance of Property Services functions including gas installations, servicing and repairs, electrical safety, fire safety, building safety, legionella, asbestos, and lifts.
You will drive and develop compliance for all service areas to achieve and maintain top quartile performance in all categories. This includes, liaising with customers and their representatives in areas of developing service delivery, providing equality and preparing and implementing opportunities for growth and innovation within this service area.
You will be responsible for ensuring appropriate arrangements are in place so that all teams and people are effectively managed, have a clear focus on quality, health and safety, customer focus, are motivated to achieve challenging objectives, including the in-house trade apprentices.

It is essential you are educated to foundation degree or Level 5 equivalent in a relevant discipline, have evidence of CPD and are prepared to undertake relevant training to further your knowledge base.
You will have experience of managing and appraising staff and team building in a substantial scale Property Maintenance function and have significant senior management experience in a property maintenance function, construction management or an organisation covering a number of functions.
It is essential you can evidence skills which will improve services and performance including complaints management and have experience of change management.

The position comes with: 32 days annual leave per year (plus Banks), Health Cash Plan inc Optical and Dental, Occupational Sick Pay at 3 month full pay and 3 month half pay, 4% employer pension contribution which includes Death in Service Benefit of 3x your annual salary
