Field Service Engineer
Contract: Permanent
Forkway are one of the UK's leading materials handling solutions providers with around 100 employees across three Handling Centres and a number of strategic service centres.
Both at outset and as work progresses, liaise with controller and customer on the range of expected work providing clarity and understanding by all parties the likely timescales and associated costs are understood.
Ensuring all work complies with engineering standards and, as relevant, Briggs/manufacturer specification/tolerances.
Identifying any further work required on a machine and ensure the customer is made aware of the fact, especially where a cost to the customer is to be incurred. Completing all related job and service documentation is correctly, with necessary signatures/documents obtained from the customer.
What will help you to excel in this role:
Good understanding of hydraulic, mechanical and electrical principals
40-hour working week.
~ Overtime Monday–Saturday and x2 on Sundays.
