Cleaner
4 hours per week term time only plus some holiday cleaning

We are seeking to employ an enthusiastic and thorough cleaner to join our team for 4 hours per week (2 hours twice per week). Our cleaners are important members of our school team and the successful candidate will need to be a reliable and capable individual, who can use their own initiative, as well as work as part of a team. We want our children to have a bright and clean learning environment as well as a welcoming school atmosphere for all. We all work together to raise the achievement of our children within the context of a caring Christian community.
The hours will be agreed at mutual convenience during term time and will include some additional holiday cleaning hours.

Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This role involves working closely with children and is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
All applicants are subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check as part of Hertfordshire County Council’s pre-employment checks. Any appointment is subject to satisfactory completion of a DBS and other safeguarding checks and also to satisfactory references being obtained.
