We’re recruiting Meter Readers across Brighton, Worthing, West Sussex, Redhill and Guildford.
This is a great opportunity for someone reliable, self-motivated and comfortable working independently.

* Hourly rate £12.61
* Full-time position – 40 hours per week
* Flexible working between 8am–8pm (Monday–Sunday)

Location Coverage
Brighton (BN1–BN18), Worthing, West Sussex, Redhill (RH10–RH14), Guildford (GU8, GU27–33)
You will be covering local routes within your allocated postcode areas.
The Role – Meter Reader
As a Meter Reader, you will:
* Visit residential and commercial properties
* Collect gas, electricity and water meter readings
* Use a handheld electronic device
* Ensure customers receive accurate bills
* Plan and manage your daily routes
* Work towards weekly performance targets
* Report damaged meters or suspected tampering
This role involves regular walking and outdoor work in all weather conditions.
What We’re Looking For
* Full UK driving licence (essential)
* Comfortable working independently
* Good customer service and communication skills
* Physically fit due to the nature of the role
* Able to manage workload and meet targets
* Reliable, professional and presentable
* Willing to undergo DBS and screening checks
