Role
As a Social Worker in our fostering team, you will
* Complete mainstream fostering assessments and provide post-approval support.
* Undertake kinship assessments (including Reg 24, Fostering, and Special Guardianship).
* Assess and support Supported Lodgings and Staying Put arrangements.
* Contribute to the delivery of the Mockingbird model to strengthen fostering networks.
* Participate in the team duty rota, ensuring timely responses and continuity of care.
* Full understanding of legal /court systems
Experience
* SWE (HCPC) Registration and a Degree in Social Work (or equivalent).
* Minimum 3 years post-qualified experience within an English Local Authority.
* Strong knowledge of: Children Act 1989
* Care Planning Regulations 2010
* Fostering Regulations 2011
* National Minimum Standards
* Ability to apply theoretical frameworks, practice models, and research findings.
* Access to a car and willingness to travel across Dorset. xxuwjjq
