The role
We are seeking a Surrey Venture Studio (SVS) Manager to lead the development and delivery of the Surrey Venture Studio (SVS), a pre-incubation programme supporting early-stage academic and community-led ventures across the University of Surrey, University for the Creative Arts and Royal Holloway. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a flagship innovation programme that helps turn ideas into real-world impact. As Surrey Venture Studio Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the region’s entrepreneurial ecosystem and supporting early-stage ventures to succeed.
* Provide strategic leadership for SVS, aligning with regional innovation priorities.
* Design and deliver high-quality workshops, bootcamps, and events.
* Oversee the full programme lifecycle, from participant recruitment to showcase events.
* Manage Catalyst Grant governance and ensure compliance with funding conditions.
* Build strong relationships with Entrepreneurs-in-Residence, mentors, Tech Transfer Offices, and external partners.
* Report to the Surrey Innovation Board and maintain audit-ready documentation.

You will bring:
* Proven experience in programme or project management, including budget oversight.
* Expertise in designing and delivering innovation programmes or ecosystems.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
* Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
* Ability to work independently and make strategic decisions in complex environments.
