Investment Banking Vice President (Tech M&A), London
Our client, a Bulge Bracket investment bank, is seeking a high-performing Investment Banking Vice President to support and help drive success in their leading TMT (Technology vertical) coverage team. The role offers front-line exposure to landmark transactions and strategic projects across Tech-enables services, Software, Hardware, Semiconductor and Internet sectors.
You’ll be embedded in a high-calibre team with a deep sector pedigree, advising leading corporates and financial sponsors.
The successful applicant will likely have the following
* Strong interest to cover technology. (Prior experience covering the tech sector is not necessarily required. For example, you may currently cover Business Services and now you'd be keen to do more work with 'tech-enabled' services businesses).
* 5-7 years of experience in investment banking, M&A, or financial advisory
* Excellent technical foundation and commercial acumen.
Key responsibilities of the role
* Lead on buy & sell-side M&A (upper mid-market / large cap) transactions, and support financial modeling and valuation analysis.
* Lead transaction execution, due diligence and stakeholder coordination.
* Monitor telecoms and digital infrastructure trends across Europe, identifying strategic implications for clients.
* Be motivated to make MD within the team.
