Your purpose will be:
Reporting to the Front Office Manager, the Night Manager is responsible for ensuring we provide the highest level of guest service and ensuring that standards are maintained during the overnight period. The Night Manager will be responsible for the entire hotel and act on behalf of the General Manager during this time frame.
Job Description
1. Ensures that all Front Office Standards Operating policies and procedures are adhered
2. Responsible for the completed nightly end of day reporting; ensuring accuracy in balancing of accounts
3. Seeks feedback on guest satisfaction and resolves problems in accordance with our promise and philosophy of colleague empowerment
4. Strong and effective communication with all other departments
5. Provides guidance and motivation to the night team. Establishes and communicates on a daily basis with the Front Office leaders. A strong commitment to colleague satisfaction.
6. Responsible to balance operational, administrative and colleague needs
7. Responsible for ensuring consistency in exceeding guest service expectations (Fairmont Hotels & Resorts programs as a measurement tool)
8. Provides passionate direction towards achieving our vision
9. Conducts night colleague performance evaluations on a timely basis, including corrective action and coaching
10. Develops, implements and/or maintains new incentives to motivate colleagues and maximize hotel revenue
11. Effectively maximizes inventory levels during high occupancy/sold out nights
12. Adheres to and promotes the Company’s Health and Safety policies to ensure a safe work environment and knowledgeable all safety and emergency procedures

Qualifications
13. Minimum 2 years of Front Office management experience in a luxury or high-volume environment.
14. Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management is highly preferred.
15. Proven ability to coach and motivate a professional team while balancing financial, operational, and HR priorities.
16. Proficiency in Front Office systems (Opera/Fidelio) and Microsoft Office.
17. Highly organized and results-oriented with a proven ability to work flexibly under pressure.
18. Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
