Are you ready to make a significant impact ensuring our medicines and solutions are accessible to customers who might benefit in the UK? Then joins us as our next Associate Commercial Director, within the private obesity team.
Your new role
If you possess expertise in e-commerce, especially within e-health, and thrive in dynamic, fast paced environments, you’ll be able to drive growth within the market and contribute directly to business success. As a strategic leader, you’ll build and inspire a high-performing team, drive innovation, and foster a culture of collaboration. If you’re ready to lead with vision, influence outcomes, and shape the future, this is the perfect role for you.
The role requires travel across the UK approximately 2–3 times per week.
What You’ll Do
* Shape and execute growth strategies for strategic accounts in the e-commerce space, staying ahead of market trends and health innovations.
* Engage directly with senior external stakeholders, including CFO’s, CMO’s, etc., and lead commercial strategy, develop joint initiatives, and launch new products to maximise market impact.
* Oversee P&L, budgeting, and performance metrics, aligning commercial plans with organisational goals.
* Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, Marketing, Medical Affairs, etc.) to optimise stakeholder engagement and establish brand leadership.
* Build and lead a high-performing UK field force, promoting innovative thinking and long-term partnership development.
Your new department
The role is based in the UK affiliate, within the Private Obesity Business Unit. Our team is dedicated to improving the lives of patients by driving innovation and growth in the eCommerce landscape. The UK affiliate is a fast‑paced and dynamic environment where collaboration and strategic thinking are key to success.
Your skills and qualifications
To be successful in this role, you possess a degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration (or equivalent). Additionally, you will be:
* A proven collaborative leader with experience driving performance and growth in fast‑paced, complex, matrixed environments.
* Deep understanding of B2B2C business models and e-commerce and digital health landscape, ideally with a background in both FMCG and pharma, specifically in the private obesity sector. ABPI qualification would be desirable.
* Skilled in building strategic partnerships with senior stakeholders (internal and external), negotiating high‑value contracts, and influencing senior executives.
* Excellent communication skills and fluent in the language of finance, marketing, and investment—able to build credibility and trust with CFOs, CMOs, and other business leaders.
* Data‑driven, commercially savvy, and passionate about delivering value in a consumer‑led healthcare market.
* Experience in managing budgets, forecasting, and P&L planning.
