Science Technician Location: Liverpool, L11 Start Date: As soon as possible Contract Type: Temporary, Long Term Working Hours: Full time, 8:00am - 4.00pm Salary: Paid to scale Key Responsibilities: Setting up equipment, making up solutions/cultures, ensuring labs are clean Clean, maintain and manage resources Implementing safety policies, conducting risk assessments, managing hazardous waste, checking safety equipment (fume cupboards, first aid). Assisting teachers with practical's, demonstrating techniquesRequirements: Prior experience working with children Science background Up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable, but not essential as training can be provided). Right to Work in the UK. Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or willingness to apply for a new one.
