We are looking for a highly motivated Consultant tojoin and contribute to a growing and ambitious sustainability communicationpractice. If you are an accomplished communications practitioner withsignificant agency or in house experience in running ESG and sustainability communicationcampaigns, then this could be an exciting opportunity for you to contribute toan in-demand service at a global integrated communications consultancy.
This role will develop and implement integrated sustainability communicationsstrategies that enhance and protect the reputations of prestigious corporatebrands across a range of industries, from FMCG to energy. You will play apivotal role at the heart of our business – maintaining, developing, andextending client relationships in an entrepreneurial environment.
Your impact:
If you already have experience in both strategiccommunications and ESG and are ready for the next step in your career, thenthis could be an exciting opportunity for you. In this role, you will be:
* A thoughtful analyst on sustainability comms trends: following and assessing the sustainability trends, issues and challenges that affect clients' businesses and industries, through media and social media coverage, regulatory developments, NGO perspectives, and investor attitudes and perspectives on ESG.
* An advisor on communications and sustainability: providing strategic counsel and guidance to senior business leaders on ESG and sustainability issues, as well as a broader set of reputational issues, in a wide variety of fields including, but not limited to; ESG strategies and issue analysis, reputation management, strategic content development, corporate and sustainability narrative development, ESG and investor relations.
* A campaigns expert: supporting end-to-end integrated campaigns, from the development of insights, strategy, and content to their activation and measurement.
* A skilled writer: drafting strategic, high quality briefing documents, communication plans, narratives, messaging and positioning for clients, as well as developing thought leadership pieces on ESG for the agency.
* A passionate builder of relationships: developing and expanding our client relationships; identifying potential leads and areas of growth with existing clients as well expanding our reach and relevance with a broader set of businesses with new ideas and services.
* A translator of sustainability: Developing excellent client knowledge and understanding and distilling external sustainability trends into clear and concise insights that are financially and operationally relevant.
Join us if you have:
* Strong communications expertise: The Consultant role is for those with four to six years of professional experience in strategic communications, either at PR agencies or in-house communications roles. Experience working with large, multinational businesses is an advantage.
* Outstanding experience in ESG analysis and/or communication, including strategic level understanding of and experience in core sustainability and ESG issues, in particular investor attitudes, trends, regulatory frameworks and issue-specific knowledge.
* Intellectual rigor, excellent insights and problem-solving capabilities, including knowledge and experience using industry tools, such as Pulsar, Factiva, Quid and Moz.
* Outstanding organisational, time and priority management skills, including the ability to effectively manage multiple projects at once.
* Excellent verbal communications and presentation skills: fluency in spoken and written English are a must, and additional language skills are a plus.
* Earned a bachelor’s degree.
* Strong command of all Microsoft Office programs.
* The right to work in the UK and can demonstrate it if requested.
