ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Tiler to join the MSS team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tile installation, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. You will be responsible for installing tiles in residential and commercial properties, including aged care facilities ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications.
This is a full-time permanent position, the working hours change depending on client and project requirements, but typically, Monday to Friday 7 AM – 4:30 PM. No after hours of weekend work. You will from client site all across Perth, and occasionally required to visit the office in Welshpool to catch up with the team.
You will be provided a company vehicle for work related use.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Measure and cut tiles to fit various surfaces.
* Install tiles on floors, walls, and ceilings according to design specifications.
* Prepare surfaces for tiling by cleaning, leveling, and applying adhesive.
* Grout and finish tile installations to ensure a professional look.
* Repair or replace damaged tiles as needed.
* Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order.
* Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople on site.
* Adhere to safety regulations and company policies at all times.
REQUIREMENTS
* Proven experience as a Tiler, minimum 3 years' experience.
* Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing, and working in various environmental conditions.
* Ability to obtain Working with Children Check and a Police Clearance is essential.
* A valid driver's license
* Construction white card required
* Must have valid work rights, visa sponsorship not available.
