A fantastic new job opportunity has become available for an experienced Nurse Deputy Home Manager to work in an exceptional care home based in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey. The care home is a boutique luxury, purpose-built facility offering residential and nursing care, with therapy and exercise rooms and an octagonal glass public café.
A qualified Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin is required for this role.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Home Manager and handle day-to-day operations in their absence.
* Alongside the Home Manager, manage and be responsible for all aspects of the service in line with CQC requirements.
* Ensure service users receive the highest standards of professional support, encouraging growth and independence.
* Cover floors or work alongside nurses as needed, often working outside the office.
Preferred Skills & Experience
* Previous Deputy Home Manager experience.
* Ability to engage with service users to understand their needs and deliver excellent care.
* Good working knowledge of CQC standards.
* Skill in building and maintaining relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors, and staff.
* Good clinical skills.
* Promote ownership of care programs by involving service users and families in developing, agreeing, and evaluating them.
