Role Purpose
This role involves working as a team of electricians on industrial and water industry programmes in the South West London and Surrey region for SES Water.
Role Details
Permanent role, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Paid hourly, including overtime. Travel time is paid door‑to‑door on top of contracted hours.
Responsibilities
* Complete electrical installations in accordance with BS7671 and Bridges Electrical Safety Rules and Essential Standards.
* Ensure all Health and Safety legislation and regulations are adhered to.
* Ensure all items are installed to the highest standards, in compliance with the project’s quality plan and inspection and test plans.
* Follow and actively promote the STAR dynamic risk assessment and be empowered to stop work if an unsafe circumstance arises.
* Coach and mentor electrical improvers and apprentices.
* Promote and demonstrate Bridges’ values when dealing with peers, staff, customers and clients.
* Promote positive health and wellbeing among peers.
* Act in a professional manner and be an ambassador for Bridges, supporting business goals and maintaining the company’s positive reputation.
Requirements
* ECS gold card (essential).
* Experience within the water or construction industry.
* Industrial and/or panel wiring experience (desirable).
* Ability to manage own and others’ workload with minimal assistance from Project Managers.
* Appropriate City & Guilds trade qualification.
* Fitness to work medical.
* Full UK driving licence.
Desirable
* EUSR Water Hygiene.
* Inspection and testing certificate.
* PASMA / IPAF / Confined space certification.
* COMPEX.
