Overview
General Practitioners needed in York (Locum Contract) for Service Care Solutions to support Primary Care Centres, Urgent Treatment Centres and Same Day Urgent Care (SDUC) Centres within the Yorkshire Area.
Location & Contract
>Location: York and surrounding areas. Shifts: Monday - Sunday. Contract: Locum contract | ongoing | flexible hours. Pay: £75 - 90 LTD p.h – Dependent on Service worked.

* Same Day Urgent Care (SDUC)
* General Practitioner Out of Hours (GP OOH)
* Telephone Triage (Onsite)
Essential Criteria
GPs must have gained their CCT within the past 12 months and have experience supporting Urgent Care Centres, A&Es or Walk in Centres.
Duties
* Conduct patient consultations, including physical examinations and history taking.
* Diagnose and manage both acute and chronic medical conditions.
* Prescribe medications and manage repeat prescriptions.
* Order, review, and interpret diagnostic tests and investigations.
* Refer patients to appropriate secondary care or specialist services when required.
* Promote preventative care and provide health education to patients.
* Manage long-term health conditions such as diabetes, asthma, and hypertension.
* Maintain comprehensive and accurate patient records using clinical systems (or SystmOne).
