Job Description
Implement and supervise the company's safety program to ensure compliance with OSHA and job site safety requirements.
Responsibilities
1. Perform jobsite safety audits and report findings to company leadership.
2. Provide safety orientation to all new hires.
3. Conduct monthly safety training sessions.
4. Provide training and demonstrate competence in areas such as Fall Protection, Excavations, Confined Spaces, Traffic Control, and related road construction hazards.
5. Conduct post-incident/accident investigations and prepare reports to identify causes and recommend solutions.
6. Oversee workers' compensation claims.
7. Coordinate initial medical care for injured employees and accompany them to medical facilities.
8. Investigate and resolve property damage complaints.
9. Coordinate with external training providers for courses like First Aid/CPR, Defensive Driving, OSHA 10, etc.
10. Administer drug tests in various settings.
