We’re building a next-generation Property Management System (PMS) to power everything from tenant bookings to landlord operations, enabling effortless renting and hassle-free property management at scale. We are assembling a small, dynamic team of A-Players who want to build category-defining products and scale The Flex into a global powerhouse.
Position Summary – Full Stack Engineer
As a Full Stack Engineer at The Flex, you will play a pivotal role in building our proprietary PMS—the backbone of our global rental platform. You’ll work across the full stack—front-end, back-end, and cloud—bringing bold ideas from concept to production. If you’re excited about solving complex challenges in real estate technology, pushing the boundaries of automation, and building systems that scale globally, this is the role for you. Key Responsibilities
* Full-Stack Development – Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications that form the core of our PMS, using Node.js, React, and modern frameworks.
* API-First Architecture – Build and optimize RESTful APIs (FastAPI/Node.js) that connect reservations, operations, and customer experiences into one seamless ecosystem.
* Automation & Intelligence – Develop automation tools that streamline operations, optimize pricing, and reduce human intervention in property management.
* Cloud Infrastructure – Deploy, manage, and scale applications on AWS, leveraging serverless and cloud-native best practices.
* Testing & Quality – Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated tests, and code reviews to ensure high reliability.
* Troubleshooting & Debugging – Rapidly investigate and resolve production issues.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work hand-in-hand with product, design, and operations teams to build features that deliver real business impact.
What We’re Looking For
* Strong proficiency in Node.js, React, and AWS Cloud.
* Experience building cloud-native/serverless applications.
* Solid understanding of REST API design and integrations.
* Familiarity with FastAPI and Python is a strong plus.
* Strong grasp of CI/CD, automated testing, and Git workflows.
* A problem-solver who learns quickly and thrives on autonomy.
