Job Title: Behaviour Mentor / SEMH Teaching Assistant

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (8:30am - 4:30pm, Term Time Only)
Are you a passionate and resilient Behaviour Mentor or SEMH specialist looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people?
We are working with a fantastic school in Milton Keynes that supports pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and challenging behaviour. They are looking for a dedicated, full-time Behaviour Support professional to join their team this September.
What the role involves:
Supporting students on a 1:1 and small group basis
Implementing behaviour strategies and personalised support plans
Helping students to engage with their learning and achieve their goals
Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals
Providing consistency, encouragement and emotional support throughout the school day
The ideal candidate will:
Have experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs or challenging behaviour
Be confident using de-escalation techniques and behaviour support strategies
Be calm, patient, and adaptable
Have strong interpersonal skills and a team-player mindset
Be available to work full-time, Monday to Friday (8:30-4:30) during term time
