Who are you?
This is an exciting role which will suit an enthusiastic, self-starting individual who is happy to work on a range of activities but predominantly testing the electronic assemblies. The successful individual will need to flex their priorities to support others where necessary and be comfortable with a fast-paced environment. It will require someone who takes pride in their work.
The right attitude is equally important as background and experience. We are open to receiving applications from both contractors and those looking for a 6-month fixed term contract role. The role will be based from our offices in Alton, Hampshire.
Experience in most of the following areas is required:
* Basic electronics knowledge/qualification.
* Technical delivery of testing electrical/electronic systems;
* Contribution to a complex electronics development.
* Following processes;
* Use of DVM, Oscilloscope, Bench PSU
* Computer literacy

What will you be doing here?
Responsibilities will include:
* Testing of electronic assemblies to a prescribed process using common lab test equipment (Oscilloscope, DVM, PSU)
* Identifying and documenting failures/issues and diagnosing to component level.
* Using basic hardware and software tools to simplify/automate testing, e.g. USB-I2C or USB-UART adapters and command line scripts
* Produce electronics documentation, e.g. test procedures and test reports
You will report into a senior member of the Engineering Team and your work will be prioritized in discussion with them.
