About the Role We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Children’s Residential Support Workers to join our client's home in West Derby, Liverpool, supporting children and young people. You will play a vital role in providing a safe, nurturing, and stable environment, helping young people build confidence, resilience, and positive futures. Key Responsibilities * Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people in a residential setting * Act as a positive role model, offering emotional support, guidance, and boundaries * Support with daily routines including education, activities, appointments, and personal care where required * Implement care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour support strategies * Promote safeguarding, welfare, and the rights of children at all times * Maintain accurate records in line with company policies and regulatory requirements * Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, social workers, and other professionals What We’re Looking For * A genuine passion for working with children and young people * Experience in children’s residential care or a similar setting * Ability to remain calm, resilient, and consistent in challenging situations * Willingness to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins * Strong communication and teamwork skills * Understanding of safeguarding and child protection * Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it) What We Offer * Competitive pay with enhanced rates for sleep-ins and overtime * Comprehensive induction and ongoing training * Clear career progression opportunities * A supportive, values-led team environment * The opportunity to genuinely change young lives for the better Safeguarding Statement This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
