What We’re Looking For: Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with a valid NMC pin. Proven experience in a nursing home or dementia care setting. Strong knowledge of clinical procedures, elderly care, and dementia support. Excellent communication, decision-making, and leadership skills. Ability to lead a team effectively and work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels. A compassionate, empathetic, and proactive approach to care delivery. Confident in managing clinical risk, safeguarding, and care compliance. Monitor and evaluate care plans, ensuring they are updated in line with residents' changing needs. Act as a role model and mentor to junior staff, supporting training and development. Ensure safe medication administration and clinical procedures in line with best practice and regulatory standards. Promote a culture of dignity, respect, and choice for all residents. Lead and support clinical audits, risk assessments, and safeguarding practices. Foster open communication with residents, families, and multi-disciplinary teams.
