Head of Sales. Based Southport.
Up to £70,000 basic + Significant Bonus. Excellent benefits package, with a clear path to becoming Sales Director.
A well-established and recognised market leader is seeking an ambitious Head of Sales to manage a successful office-based sales team and optimise their sales operations function. The role is based at their Southport head office and requires an exceptional people manager, driven by an opportunity to make a significant impact on a thriving business.
This is a multifaceted and highly varied role where you will lead and manage a talented team of 10 sales professionals. The team are well established and enjoying quite phenomenal success. The role has been created to free up the Managing Director's time. Your influence, commitment and success will be rewarded both financially and with progression to Sales Director.
The Role
* Managing, leading and motivating the sales team.
* Implement best practices in sales enablement, leveraging data-driven insights and cutting-edge tools.
* Collaborate with board members to define and achieve ambitious revenue and profitability goals.
* Foster a high-performance culture through coaching, mentoring, and clear goal setting.
* Monitor KPIs and ensure consistent achievement of revenue targets.
* Collaborate with Marketing and other departments to support campaigns and lead generation.
* Utilise Microsoft Dynamics to effectively manage pipelines, forecast accurately, and identify areas for improvement in sales activity.
What you'll need to apply to the Head of Sales
* 4+ years of sales leadership experience and a proven record of driving and improving sales performance.
* Authority, charisma, emotional intelligence, listening skills and natural leadership qualities.
* Leads by example.
* Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to extract actionable insights from data.
* A deep understanding of the balance between driving activity and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
* Excellent organisational, planning, and time management skills.
* Emotionally intelligent, influential, and possessing the gravitas and business acumen to inspire confidence and drive change.
* Live within a commutable distance of Southport.
