An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a Supply Chain Team of a global business as an Inventory Analyst. You will be responsible for producing and updating a variety of reports and dashboards.
This role would suit someone who loves inventory management, figures, reports, and Excel, and wants to apply these skills in a global business environment.
Availability is critical for providing excellent customer support. You will be responsible for collating and delivering management information on the performance of Global Distribution Centres, in line with designated targets.
The role involves working with systems such as Syncron, SAP, and Excel. The ability to learn quickly is vital; previous system experience is preferred. Some experience with stock or warehouse inventory systems is required. Please note, this is a desk-based role, not warehouse-based.
You will collaborate with the Purchasing and Inventory Assistant and support the wider Supply Chain Management Team with ad hoc requests.
Responsibilities of an Inventory Analyst:
1. Deliver complex analysis independently or with support
2. Produce reports as per schedule
3. Update existing reports with necessary changes
4. Utilise SAP, Syncron, and JDS to extract data
5. Execute forecast and inventory processes within Syncron
6. Use Business Warehouse to extract and summarise data
7. Manage supplier moves from the WPC to the EDC as per plan
8. Handle bespoke requests promptly
9. Review warehouse changes to support availability, identify opportunities, and assess risks
About you:
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Experience with SAP (preferred)
* Advanced Excel skills, including macros
