We operate the UK’s ONLY flexible multi-temp, shared customer delivery logistics network. We buy, warehouse, pick and distribute the entire stock that goes into our customer’s stores across the UK, priding ourselves on quality of service.
We are currently seeking a motivated and dynamic Team Manager to join our Warehouse Team. In this role, you’ll lead and inspire our Warehouse Operatives, driving daily performance to meet productivity goals and deliver excellent customer service.
10. Leading by example to maintain safety, performance, and morale standards; promote a respectful and achievement-oriented work environment
11. Train, coach, and support team members to meet operational standards; identify development needs and conduct 3/7/11 probation reviews
12. Motivate staff through clear communication of targets, recognition, and constructive feedback
13. Ensure delivery of internal/external customer requirements by managing shift demands and resolving issues effectively
14. Maintain high standards of housekeeping, hygiene, and food safety compliance across the warehouse
15. Ensure team understanding and adherence to company policies, procedures, and relevant legislation (e.g., Health & Safety, Food Safety)
16. Lead or support disciplinary and grievance processes
17. Monitor team behaviour, attendance, and payroll accuracy; escalate concerns or trends as needed
18. Minimise stock loss and credit costs through proactive management and oversight
19. Build positive relationships across departments and management teams
20. Demonstrate flexibility in working shifts, including weekends and Bank Holidays, to meet operational needs
Essential:
21. Good managerial experience in a warehouse environment
22. Experience in a multi-temperature environment
23. Must be numerate, literate and highly organised
24. Must have good keyboard skills and proficient in Excel & Word
25. A team player with excellent communication skills
Desirable:
26. Knowledge of Food safety regulations
27. Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations
28. Knowledge of Voice Technology systems
