Our client, an energy industry service company, is seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician with specialist knowledge in drilling equipment to join their growing team. The role will based in their Aberdeen facility, with offshore and international assignments when required. RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage complex overhauls of roughnecks and top drives Perform detailed equipment inspections and technical assessments Produce comprehensive recertification documentation and reports Deliver technical solutions to clients worldwide REQUIREMENTS: The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in the inspection, recertification, repair and rebuild of ST160, ST120 and AR3200 Roughnecks and TDS-4, TDS-8, TDS-11 and TDX1000 Top Drives, along with comprehensive experience across other drilling equipment systems. Self-motivated with strong technical aptitude Professional demeanour and excellent documentation skills Ability to manage complex overhaul projects independently Commitment to business growth through technical excellence
