JE-W is a disabled elderly gentlemen based in Alexandria, West Dunbartonshire. As JE-W’s Personal Assistant you will help him with personal care and general assistance to help him live his life in the way he chooses. Responsibilities include domestic cleaning, laundry, cooking and being a positive presence in JE-W’s life. The role is based in Alexandria and so it is important that you are either local or can travel to and from the area reliably.
Responsibilities
* Provide personal care and general assistance to JE-W to support his daily living needs.
* Domestic cleaning, laundry, and cooking as part of daily routines.
* Be a positive and supportive presence in JE-W’s life.
* Travel to and from the Alexandria area reliably, with local availability preferred.
* Flexible hours to cover daytime, weekend shifts and sleepovers as needed.
Hours, Pay & Schedule
* Hours per week are variable: Weekdays (10 hours), Weekend (5 hours in the morning and 6 hours in the evening), and 8 hours for sleepovers.
* Seeking 2 Personal Assistants approximately 20 hours per week each, plus sleepovers; hours are negotiable.
* Day shift pay: £14 per hour. Sleepover pay: £12.50 per hour (sleepover is combined with a 6-hour evening shift).
